Vietnam and Cambodia work best as one trip. The two countries share a long history, a border, and a set of UNESCO World Heritage sites that fit naturally into a single ten-day arc: Hanoi's Old Quarter, the limestone seascape of Ha Long Bay, Hoi An's lantern-lit merchant town, Ho Chi Minh City's modern energy, and finally Angkor Wat — the largest religious monument in the world.
Three internal flights connect the stops so you don't lose days to overland travel. The Mekong Delta day trip and the Angkor complex are both included with private guides, and the Ha Long Bay junk boat is an overnight — the only way to see the bay without the day-trip crowds.

Arrival: Land at Noi Bai International Airport. Private transfer to your hotel in the Old Quarter.
Evening: Orientation walk through the Old Quarter's 36 streets. Try egg coffee and bia hoi (fresh beer).
Overnight: Hanoi.

Morning: Breakfast. Guided tour: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature.
Afternoon: Visit the Museum of Ethnology or Hoa Lo Prison ("Hanoi Hilton").
Evening: Guided Hanoi street food tour — bún ch?, bánh mì, ph?, and bánh cu?n, eaten at locals' favourite spots.
Overnight: Hanoi.

Morning: Breakfast and check out. Drive to Ha Long Bay (approx. 3.5 hours).
Midday: Board your traditional wooden junk boat. Welcome lunch as you cruise into the bay.
Afternoon: Visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), kayak through limestone karsts, swim off the boat.
Evening: Vietnamese cooking demonstration on deck. Dinner. Optional squid fishing.
Overnight: Junk boat in Ha Long Bay.

Early Morning: Tai chi on deck at sunrise. Breakfast.
Late Morning: Disembark. Drive back to Hanoi. Flight to Da Nang.
Afternoon: Arrival in Da Nang. Private transfer to Hoi An (approx. 45 minutes).
Evening: First walk through Hoi An Ancient Town, lit by silk lanterns.
Overnight: Hoi An.

Morning: Breakfast at hotel. Guided walking tour of Hoi An Ancient Town — Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, and the Assembly Halls.
Afternoon: Free time. Optional bicycle ride to An Bang Beach or a cooking class.
Evening: Lantern-lit boat ride on the Thu Bon River. Dinner at a riverside restaurant.
Overnight: Hoi An.

Morning: Breakfast. Transfer to Da Nang Airport. Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (approx. 1h 20m).
Afternoon: Arrival in HCMC. Check in. Visit the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace.
Evening: Walk along Dong Khoi Street. Optional rooftop bar.
Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City.

Early Morning: Breakfast. Depart for the Mekong Delta (approx. 2 hours).
Late Morning: Boat trip on the Mekong River. Visit coconut candy workshops, honey farms, and local villages.
Midday: Lunch at a riverside restaurant.
Afternoon: Paddle a small sampan through narrow palm-lined canals. Return to HCMC.
Evening: Free time in HCMC.
Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City.

Morning: Breakfast and check out. Optional visit to Ben Thanh Market.
Midday: Flight to Siem Reap (approx. 1h 10m).
Afternoon: Arrival in Siem Reap. Check in. Visit the Angkor National Museum (optional) or the Old Market.
Evening: Traditional Apsara dance performance and Khmer dinner.
Overnight: Siem Reap.

Early Morning: Breakfast. Depart before dawn for Angkor Wat. Watch the sunrise over the temple's five towers — one of the world's great photographic experiences.
Morning: Guided tour of Angkor Wat — the largest religious monument on Earth, covering 400 acres.
Late Morning: Continue to the fortified city of Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple with its 216 smiling faces, and the Terrace of the Elephants.
Afternoon: Visit Ta Prohm — the jungle-reclaimed temple used in Tomb Raider. Free evening.
Overnight: Siem Reap.

Morning: Breakfast. Boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake to a floating village — the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.
Midday: Return to Siem Reap. Free time for last shopping.
Afternoon: Private transfer to Siem Reap International Airport.
