The Northeast Corridor is the only place in America where four major historic cities sit within a five-hour train ride of each other — New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and Boston. This trip is built entirely around Amtrak's Acela and Northeast Regional services, so you check in once per city, spend the day exploring on foot, and never have to think about airports or car rental.
Each city gets a full guided day plus plenty of free time. Broadway in New York is optional but recommended (we can pre-book), the Smithsonian museums in DC are free, and Boston's Freedom Trail is a genuine half-day walk. Includes 4-star hotels with breakfast in each city.

Evening: Orientation walk through Times Square. Dinner near your hotel.

Morning: Breakfast. Guided tour of Lower Manhattan — Wall Street, Trinity Church, Charging Bull.
Late Morning: Ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Audio tour at both.
Afternoon: 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge at golden hour.
Evening: Free time. Optional Broadway show (pre-bookable).
Overnight: New York.

Late Morning: Walk through Central Park to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (optional entry).
Afternoon: Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Late Morning: Arrival. Guided tour of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.
Afternoon: Explore the historic district. Optional Rocky Steps (Philadelphia Museum of Art).
Evening: Dinner at Reading Terminal Market.

Late Morning: Arrival. Guided tour of the Capitol and the White House exterior.
Afternoon: Visit the Smithsonian museums of your choice (Air & Space, American History, Natural History — all free).
Evening: Walk the National Mall at dusk, past the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.
Overnight: Washington DC.

Morning: Breakfast. Visit Arlington National Cemetery — Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Afternoon: Explore Georgetown's historic streets, waterfront, and shops.
Evening: Free time.

Morning: Breakfast and check out. Amtrak to Boston (approx. 7 hours — scenic route up the coast, or fly for a shorter journey).
Late Afternoon: Arrival in Boston. Check in. Evening walk through Beacon Hill and along the Freedom Trail.
Evening: Dinner in the North End (Boston's Italian quarter).
Overnight: Boston.

Morning: Breakfast. Guided Freedom Trail walking tour — 16 historic sites across 2.5 miles.
Afternoon: Optional Fenway Park tour or a walk through Harvard Yard in Cambridge.
Late Afternoon: Private transfer to Boston Logan Airport.
