Evening: Visit Rudaki Park and see the giant flagpole — one of the tallest in the world. Welcome dinner at a traditional Tajik restaurant (own expense) — try plov, shashlik, and fresh naan.

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your Dushanbe City Tour. Visit: National Museum of Tajikistan — home to the famous sleeping Buddha in Nirvana, one of the largest in the world. Ismoil Somoni Monument — a gilded arch honoring the founder of the Samanid dynasty.
Late Morning: Explore the Mehrgon Bazaar — Dushanbe's largest and most colorful market. Wander through stalls of spices, dried fruits, fresh produce, and traditional handicrafts.
Afternoon: Excursion to Hissar Fortress (approximately 30 minutes from Dushanbe). This historic citadel dates back 2,500 years and was a major stop on the Silk Road. Explore the imposing gate, madrasa, and caravanserai with breathtaking mountain backdrops.
