Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Amboseli National Park After an early breakfast at your residence, your driver guide will meet you, followed by a safari briefing on the adventures ahead. After the briefing, your safari adventure will start immediately you board the safari vehicle, you will drive overland through Kamba land dotted with circular houses and few shopping centers as well as Masai land to Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli National Park is situated at the foot of the highest mountain in Africa as well as the highest free standing mountain in the world, the majestic snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch followed by some leisure hours for a siesta/ swim.
Depart at around 16:00 Hours for an afternoon game viewing and return back to the lodge before sunset. The park has large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes, lions and a variety of other animals and birds all of which are attracted to this park due to its permanent supply of water from Mt. Kilimanjaro’s melting snow.
The elephant population in Amboseli is one of the few that has been able to live undisturbed and the elephant families have been studied by world renowned researcher Cynthia Moss.

Day 2: Discover Amboseli National Park
Today, we have an option of having full day game drives with picnic lunch or doing morning and afternoon game drives at Amboseli National Park. We will spend the day in search of the big cats, Elephants families etc. of Amboseli. Early morning game viewing will be the perfect time to catch a glimpse and photographing the highest peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
After the morning game drive return to the camp/lodge for breakfast and lunch. Have some rest and relaxation, sunbathing, swimming.
Depart for your afternoon game viewing drive in search of the huge herds of elephants.
It is also the home of the famed Masai people, those tall, proud nomadic warriors whose legendary prowess in battle and single handed acts of bravery in fights with wild animals has spread across the world.
Their diet is a simple one, consisting mainly of meat and milk and also the blood of cattle mixed with milk. A visit to their village reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a memorable experience.
The Masai people live in close harmony with the environment and the animals that surround them.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Drive to Arusha After breakfast at your Amboseli lodge today, check-out and proceed to Arusha via the Namanga Border town. Along the trip, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Masai land in Kajiado. After clearance at the immigration offices in Namanga, depart for Arusha through the plains for Longido. Just near Mt. Longido if the sky is clear, you may be lucky to see the snowcapped tip of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Lots of green plains with Masai children grazing their animals. Arrival at Arusha around lunch time and check-in the hotel and then tale lunch at own cost. Spend afternoon relaxing and shopping in town then overnight at the hotel. Day 4 & Day 5: Arusha – Drive to Lake Manyara After an early morning breakfast at our Arusha hotel, spend better part of our morning enjoying the hotels’ facilities before checking out, we later proceed into the Lake Manyara National Park (the only place where Lions climb trees) where it will be our home for the next 2 nights.
