Arrival: Welcome to French Canada. Land at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport. Private transfer to your boutique hotel in Old Montreal (Vieux-Montréal).
Afternoon: Check in and orientation walk along cobblestone Rue Saint-Paul, Place Jacques-Cartier, and the Old Port.
Evening: Welcome French-Canadian bistro dinner with local cider.
Overnight: Montreal.
Morning: Breakfast at hotel. Guided tour of Montreal: iconic Notre-Dame Basilica with its cobalt blue interior, Mount Royal panoramic summit belvedere overlooking downtown, and the Plateau Mont-Royal.
Afternoon: Board VIA Rail scenic train along the St. Lawrence River valley to historic Quebec City (approx. 3 hours).
Evening: Check into hotel near Château Frontenac. Evening stroll through Upper Town.
Overnight: Quebec City.
Morning: Breakfast at hotel. Guided walking tour of North America's only walled city north of Mexico: Dufferin Terrace, Plains of Abraham, Citadel, and the fairy-tale streets of Quartier Petit Champlain.
Afternoon: Short excursion to Montmorency Falls (83m high, 30m higher than Niagara Falls) and an authentic traditional maple sugar shack tasting experience.
Evening: Dinner at leisure in Old Quebec.
Overnight: Quebec City.
Morning: Breakfast at hotel. Check out. Scenic return VIA Rail train or private coach transfer back to Montreal.
Transfer: Transfer to Montreal-Trudeau Airport for your return flight.
